Wakefit Unveils India’s First AI-Powered Sleep Solutions Suite with Regul8 and Track8

Wakefit, a leading D2C home solutions company, has introduced a revolutionary suite of AI-powered sleep solutions called Wakefit Zense. The flagship products, Regul8 and Track8, are designed to significantly improve sleep health and quality for Indian consumers.

Regul8

India’s first mattress temperature controller, Regul8, allows users to manually set the temperature between 15°C and 40°C, or choose from presets such as neutral, cold, warm, ice, and fire. Its ‘Smart Sleep Control’ feature adjusts the temperature automatically based on sleep duration and other relevant parameters. Regul8 also supports dual preferences, enabling individuals to customize their sides of the bed independently. It provides seasonal versatility with cooling in summer and heating in winter, compatible with any bed and mattress type. Moreover, it is 60% more energy-efficient than a 1.5-ton air conditioner.

Track8

An AI-powered contactless sleep tracker, Track8 provides precise insights into sleep patterns using a discreet sensor sheet placed under the mattress. Track8 eliminates the need for wearables and uses AI and machine learning algorithms to analyze sleep data. Users receive comprehensive sleep reports detailing sleep stages, respiratory rate, snoring, movement, and overall sleep quality, resulting in an aggregated sleep score the next day.

Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, director and co-founder of Wakefit, emphasized the company’s ambition to build advanced sleep technology tailored for India. “Regul8 and Track8 are the first of many products we are launching as part of the Zense range. We have developed these products in-house to make them accessible and affordable for Indians. By leveraging AI and innovative design, we aim to address the unique sleep challenges faced by consumers,” he said.

Yash Dayal, chief technology officer and project lead for Zense, highlighted the user-centric design and advanced technology of the new products. “Regul8 and Track8 leverage cutting-edge technology with a focus on user-centric design. They represent our goal to make sleep personalized, manageable, and accessible for customers,” he stated.

Regul8 is priced at Rs 44,999, while Track8 costs Rs 10,499, both available at a discounted launch price.

Founded in 2016, Wakefit has secured $145.4 million across five funding rounds, with the latest Series D round completed in January 2023. The company is backed by five investors, including Verlinvest and Susquehanna International Group (SIG).

Wakefit’s latest initiative underscores its commitment to addressing specific sleep issues with targeted solutions, backed by extensive research and development. The launch of Wakefit Zense marks a significant step forward in the company’s mission to enhance sleep health for consumers across India.
