The price hike affects various prepaid plans, from daily to annual packages. The base plan, which offers 2GB of daily data for 28 days, will now be priced at ₹189, up from ₹155. Other notable changes include:
Additionally, the 1GB data add-on pack has been raised from ₹15 to ₹19. The prices of the ₹25 and ₹61 plans have been increased to ₹29 and ₹69, respectively.

The premium annual recharge plan, which was previously ₹2,999, has been revised to ₹3,599. This plan continues to offer 2.5GB of daily data for 365 days.
Postpaid plans have also seen a price increase:
Several other Jio unlimited plans with 28 days, 56 days, 84 days, and 336 days validity have also become pricier. All these plans will continue to offer unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day benefits.
One major change is that the 5G unlimited data facility will now be limited to customers with plans offering 2GB of data per day or more.
Reliance Jio’s new pricing strategy aims to increase the mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) beyond ₹300 to remain profitable while continuing to invest in spectrum and network technology. Despite the price hikes, the telecom company asserts that the benefits of these plans remain the same, ensuring that customers continue to receive value for their money.
The new tariffs will come into effect on July 3, and customers are advised to check the revised pricing for prepaid and postpaid plans on the Reliance Jio website. This move by Reliance Jio follows a similar price hike by rival telecom operator Reliance Jio, indicating a broader trend of increasing telecom tariffs in India.
