Dibakar Banerjee’s eagerly awaited romance-drama sequel, Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2, has finally hit Netflix, marking its digital premiere after a theatrical release earlier this year. The streaming platform announced the film’s availability on its official Instagram handle, inviting viewers to embark on a journey through the complexities of modern relationships.
“Buckle up for a rollercoaster ride. Watch #LoveSexAurDhokha2 now on Netflix!” exclaimed Netflix in a post featuring a graphic depiction of a heart adorned with social media icons.
Released on April 19, the film delves into ‘love in the times of the internet,’ weaving together tales of love, friendship, and self-discovery in the high-tech age. Despite its promising premise, Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2 struggled at the box office, earning just Rs 15 lakh on its opening day, proving to be a commercial disappointment.
The sequel stars Paritosh Tiwari, Bonita Rajpurohit, and Abhinav Singh in pivotal roles, alongside a star-studded cast featuring Mouni Roy, Tusshar Kapoor, Uorfi Javed, Anu Malik, Swastika Mukherjee, and Sophie Choudry in cameo appearances.
Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, the film faced competition at the box office with the romcom Do Aur Do Pyaar starring Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy.
Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2 is set to engage Netflix audiences with its exploration of contemporary themes and a narrative that navigates the complexities of relationships in the digital era.
