Hulu’s ‘Tell Me Lies’ Season 2 premieres on September 4, delving into themes of war, redemption, and revenge with new characters and expanded storylines.
‘Tell Me Lies,’ a hit American drama TV series, is all set to release its second season on Hulu. The show, based on Carola Lovering‘s novel of the same name, follows the complex relationship between Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco. The first season ended with a shocking revelation that Stephen was engaged to Lucy’s high school best friend Lydia while Lucy and Evan had hooked up during college.
The showrunner, Meaghan Oppenheimer, shared that Season 2 will focus more on war, redemption, and revenge. It will be told in two timelines, one in 2008, when the friends are in college together at Baird, and one in 2015, when Evan and Bree are getting married. “Most of the season’s shocking moments happen here,” she said.
While Lucy and Stephen’s relationship remains at the core of the story, Oppenheimer aims to expand the storylines of the whole friend group in this season. The second season of ‘Tell Me Lies’ premieres its first two episodes on September 4 on Hulu, with the remaining episodes releasing weekly.
